About ALR Soberlife

Any Length Resources (ALR) offers substance abuse treatment in Bessemer, Alabama. They have safe, secure settings for men 19 and older to recover without distractions.

Rigorous Structure for Recovery

ALR provides a strict structure for recovery. Guests must maintain a clean, organized living space. You’ll have curfews to meet and adhere to daily apartment inspections. If you leave the property then you must sign out and sign in once you return. This service provides predictability and security for residents.

Phased Recovery Process

ALR includes four phases of recovery. When starting, guests must obtain a sponsor and begin working the 12-step principles within the first two weeks of treatment. Guests have six weeks to find employment and must attend group accountability meetings and counseling sessions.

Drug testing is required during all phases and is more prominent in the first two phases. The program is divided into various timeframes and slowly progresses as you gain more independence.

Part of the treatment involves a community service project which can help you learn team-building skills. As you grow in your recovery you can work with others in the program and help guide and mentor them through recovery.
