About Kings View Community Services Hanford

Kings View Community Services is a nonprofit DUI provider in Central Valley, California. They have multiple locations, including one in suburban Hanford. They’ve been in business since 1975 and offer medication assisted treatment, outpatient counseling for substance use and DUI courts, or DMV-referred classes. They offer dual diagnosis treatment. Clients can also self-refer for treatment.

Their DUI programs range from a wet reckless education course that lasts 12 hours to 18-month programs and everything in between. It’s approved by the State of California DMV as a program that can get your license reinstated.

Their medication assisted treatment (MAT) services use Suboxone and methadone to treat opioid and alcohol dependency. Both of these medications are approved by the FDA and can be used to decrease cravings and increase your chances of lifelong sobriety. They can also work with you to taper off your dose once you’ve stabilized.

Speaking of stabilization, if you need to detox, they offer withdrawal services as well.Their staff includes doctors and nurses, certified addiction specialists, and a pharmacist who’ll guide you through your entire program.

Their outpatient drug and alcohol counseling is for both private and court-ordered clients. You’ll work with a licensed therapist to work through the root causes of your addiction. You may also join small group sessions for peer support and education.

Kings View also provides intervention services. If you need help staging an effective intervention, their team of specialists can help you make sure it goes smoothly for everyone involved.

I like that they also have an app that you can download to mobile devices. It’s available for Apple and Android devices and helps you access and learn about their services.
