About Coachella Valley Rescue Mission

Coachella Valley Rescue Mission is located in Indio, California and offers a shelter and structure to people who are battling substance use disorders. It is not just a treatment center but a place where people who are homeless and struggling with addiction and other issues can find hope. Breaking the Cycle with Holistic Healing

Recovery is more than just detox and that is why the center has incorporated therapy, education and vocational training into its programs. The center has a holistic strategy because it deals with addiction and other issues that are likely to be encountered in a person’s life.
Individual and group counseling, as well as faith based counseling enables residents to learn the skills that are required for them to stay clean for the rest longer. Outreach is also an important part of the mission’s work.

Teams work directly with the homeless population and provide transportation, clothing and case management services. These efforts help to create a connection between living on the streets and seeking treatment, giving people a chance to change their lives when they most need it.

Empowering Families

Families are also affected by addiction and many parents, spouses or siblings may enable the addict, feel guilty or anxious about what to do. The mission offers family counseling and education to help parents, spouses and siblings of individuals with addiction disorders to identify the disease and set up proper limits.

The facility assists individuals in checking their coverage and other ways to pay for the treatment, so that no one is prevented from seeking help. Coachella Valley Rescue Mission combined structured programs with emotional and spiritual support to help individuals and families in the process of reclaiming their lives.
