About Bournewood Caulfield Center

Located in Woburn, Massachusetts, is the Woburn Caulfield Center. This is a treatment and recovery facility that operates under the greater Bournewood Health Systems. There are locations throughout Massachusetts; however, their Woburn location provides services for adults who have a co-occurring mental health and substance use struggle. There’s a special track for members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Care is offered in a partial hospitalization setting. You should expect a more intensive recovery program than what you would find in a traditional outpatient program. Many people who receive services here and complete the program will then be referred to a general outpatient program and medication management if it applies to their case.

Along with self-pay, they accept MassHealth (Medicaid) and Medicare.

At the core of the Woburn Caulfield Center is a treatment approach that balances both evidence based practices and trauma informed care. It’s not a clinical setting, but you can expect quality clinical care to help you on your path to recovery.

There’s also a big emphasis on building a supportive community you can lean on. You’ll do this through regular group meetings and counseling sessions. Other supports like motivational interviewing will help you find meaning and motivation within yourself as well.

The facility itself is beautiful. The building is modern, nicely furnished, and is a comfortable place to receive therapy services. You’re just 12 miles north of Boston, where you’ll find a collection of museums including the Boston Tea Party and Ship Museum along with the Museum of Fine Arts.

Make your way a couple of minutes west and you’ll find peace and tranquility in the Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge. Transportation services run in front of the Woburn Caulfield Center, making it easy to get to your treatment program here and move around town overall.

This historic community can be a quiet and comfortable place to start your recovery and even set down roots. Connect with a community that values health and wellness and build your support system at Woburn Caulfield Center.
