WestCare inspires healing and personal growth in the communities they serve through a wide range of behavioral health services. They help adults, families, and pregnant/parenting women recover from substance use or mental issues. They have facilities across various locations offering residential treatment, outpatient care and education/prevention services. This 4th Street location in arid Las Vegas, Nevada, is a transitional living facility for men in the early stage of recovery from substance use.

The facility is located near I-15 and U.S. Route 95. These routes provide easy access from various parts of the Las Vegas metropolitan area and beyond. The program offers a structured place where you can gain the skills needed to transition back into the community and live independently. It can be very beneficial if you’re just stepping down from inpatient care. The goal is to promote wellness and hope through supportive care, advocacy and recovery-focused skill development.

You’re encouraged to follow the recommended level of care in an outpatient setting while living onsite. This may involve counseling or therapy sessions focused on building healthy coping skills and preventing relapse. The idea is to follow the treatment plan while still having the structure and support of living at the facility. You’re also encouraged to actively participate in support groups to ensure a healthy circle of support.

The main attraction of this program is that it gives you a chance to continue your education, seek employment and prepare for lasting stable housing. Living in a community of people with similar goals also gives you a chance to work through challenges and celebrate wins. It’s expected that, at the end of your stay, you’ll be ready to live on your own and stay sober. You’ll also have a strong support system to help you navigate life challenges.

WestCare accepts Medicaid and most major private insurance. They can assist you with enrollment if you’re not currently enrolled in Medicaid. Self-pay options are also available. They won’t deny you treatment if you’re unable to pay.
