About Bridgeway Rehabilitation Services Washington
Bridgeway Rehabilitation Services Washington operated as Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services’ Warren & Hunterdon Counties Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT IV) in New Jersey. They have since closed this facility.
This team supported adults with serious mental illness, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression and schizoaffective and delusional disorders, as well as co-occurring substance use concerns.
Bridgeway met people where they were, delivering hands-on rehabilitation and support directly in homes and community settings so recovery fits into real life.
Treatment for Serious Mental Illness
PACT IV provided individualized, flexible rehab and treatment for adults with significant psychiatric histories, including those who had experienced repeated hospitalizations or found limited benefit from other intensive services.
The multidisciplinary team was available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with rapid, flexible response to potential crises.
Care included medication prescriptions, administration and education, along with in-community skills training for daily living tasks like hygiene, cooking and budgeting.
Support was not necessarily time-limited and could continue long term when clinically needed, helping build lasting stability.
Integrated Care for Co-Occurring Disorders
Bridgeway also provided MICA treatment for co-occurring mental illness and chemical addiction, with recovery goals that include living alcohol-and drug-free.
The program offered career counseling, job-search skills, ongoing employment support and help building family, peer and community connections.
