Addiction Treatment Programs

  • Dual Diagnosis

During dual diagnosis treatment in North Dakota, you’ll receive integrated care for your mental health and substance use concerns, helping you establish long-term recovery. A mental health diagnosis can feed into an addiction, making both worse. In a dual diagnosis program, these concerns are addressed along with typical evidence-based detox, inpatient treatment, and outpatient care.

  • Young Adult Rehab

Young adult rehab programs in North Dakota can help young people make healthier life choices and avoid common mistakes. Young adults often have questions about starting their careers, having a family, and living independently without overspending. These concerns are addressed along with typical evidence-based detox, inpatient treatment, and outpatient care.

Insurance Coverage

  • Medicaid

If you qualify, Medicaid is a good way to pay for substance use treatment in North Dakota. Medicaid often covers the full cost of rehab if you choose a center that accepts it. You can look for multiple types of care, including detox, inpatient, and outpatient.

  • Self-pay options

In North Dakota, you have the option to pay for rehab yourself, which is known as self-pay. This gives you maximum flexibility in choosing the center you like best. You can use a medical loan from a bank or credit union, write a check, or send money electronically.

Levels of Care

    Outpatient Rehab

During outpatient treatment in North Dakota, each client attends multiple hours of care per week while living independently outside of treatment. Finishing residential treatment is a big step, and outpatient care allows you to have support while you learn to apply your new skills and habits in real life situations.

Therapies

  • Cognitive Behavior Therapy

Not everything we think is true or helpful. Cognitive behavioral therapy in North Dakota teaches you to challenge distorted thinking so you can see things more clearly and choose healthier responses. As you learn to identify thought distortions, your confidence in your ability to manage a wide variety of situations will grow. You’ll have the tools you need to address problems and manage triggers in a healthy way.

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy

People want to improve their situation but don’t always know how. Dialectical behavioral therapy in North Dakota teaches you healthy coping mechanisms and improves your confidence so you can build a better life. As you learn helpful coping strategies, your confidence in your ability to manage a wide variety of situations will grow. You’ll have the tools you need to address problems and manage triggers in a healthy way.

  • Group Therapy

During group therapy in North Dakota, each client has a chance to share their unique experiences and feelings about the discussion topic. This creates accountability and support. Sessions generally last 60 to 90 minutes and give you a chance to discover others’ experiences, hear about the impact of substance use, and learn important new life skills.

  • Individual Therapy

You’re not alone as you work through addiction in North Dakota. Individual therapy gives you a professional who’s on your side to help you build a new life. During individual therapy, you have the freedom and confidentiality to share personal issues and past experiences that may impact your substance use. Your therapist will help you work through those concerns and develop new ways of handling them.

  • Trauma Therapy

During trauma-informed therapy in North Dakota, you’ll be given the tools you need to manage your emotions and understand what happened in a healthier way. Because trauma can be a significant trigger for substance use, trauma-informed therapy will help you understand what happened to you, realize that it was wrong, and create a healthier way of relating to that memory and the emotions you feel.
