About Homestead Youth and Family Services

Homestead Youth and Family Services is a non-profit organization committed to helping at risk youth in Pendleton, Oregon. This facility offers residential care, counseling and educational services to help youngsters with legal problems, poor home environments or behavioral health issues.

The structured program has a focus on rehabilitation not punishment and offers a safe and supportive environment where adolescents can work towards a better future. This program is designed for male youth, between the ages of 14 and 20, especially those on probation or parole.

A Different Approach From Traditional Rehab Centers

Homestead’s approach stands out because of its holistic focus on rehabilitation. The facility does more than provide treatment—it creates an environment where young people can learn self-discipline, build confidence, and develop meaningful life skills.

Each resident is equipped with the necessary tools for progress through therapy, daily routines, and educational support. Counseling plays a key role in the program. To help youth work through past trauma, improve their self-esteem and learn how to form positive relationships, individual and group therapy sessions are provided.

These sessions provide open discussion without judgment for those who may have feelings of shame or low self worth. Emotional and behavioral support is crucial for young people who have had substance related issues and youth will find it here.

Second Chance for a Brighter Future

Homestead Youth and Family Services doesn’t believe any adolescent should be judged only by their previous mistakes. Their programs are designed to ensure care is available to families who may not be able to afford private treatment options.

The facility ensures that youth leave with a stronger foundation for success in the long run as it emphasizes long-term rehabilitation. For those who are lost, or unsure of themselves, or burdened by their situation, Homestead offers a way to rebuild their lives. This program provides a path forward through education, therapy, and community engagement.
