About Jubilee Ministries

Jubilee Ministry’s Aftercare Program is in a suburban corner of Lebanon, Pennsylvania. It’s right next to Optimist Memorial Park Southwest. They help men and women affected by incarceration turn their lives around. This Christ-centered program guides people toward breaking free from cycles of incarceration and addiction. It also supports those dealing with unhealthy relationships.

They offer personalized and holistic opportunities for life change in a structured setting. The program involves five phases covering topics that address the heart and mind. Progress through each phase depends on personal growth not a set timeline.

Their recovery approach integrates spirituality with clinical practice alongside vocational training and life skills development. You’ll attend devotions and prayer sessions, Bible studies, and discipleship meetings while onsite. You’re expected to connect with the local church to build community, find support and deepen your faith.

You’ll participate in counseling sessions and recovery meetings. They offer classes on budgeting and personal finances. You’ll learn goal setting, time management and other life skills that promote lasting recovery. Reflective writing is encouraged as a way to process your thoughts, emotions and experiences.

Contributions to community service are emphasized. You can volunteer at local shelters, help with food drives or assist community organizations. These activities provide a sense of purpose and connection while giving back to the community.

You’ll gain valuable vocational experience that prepares you for a potential career opportunity by working at their thrift store. They offer workplace evaluations as well to support your growth.

You’ll get help with managing your schedule and understanding structure or expectations while onsite. Plus, you’ll work on goals with your life coach and handle any probation or parole stuff. You can keep living at Jubilee in apartment-style housing after graduation as you work on becoming more independent.

Jubilee also offers a summer camp scholarship program to support children whose lives have been affected by incarceration. This includes children whose parents or immediate caregivers are in prison.

Those whose parents are part of the Jubilee Aftercare Program can benefit as well. This program involves a one week stay at a Christian camp where children can enjoy being kids while learning about Jesus.
